Pomfret VT Historical Society

The Pomfret Historical Society is a 501c3 non-profit tax-exempt Vermont Corporation reactivated in 1999 to continue the historic preservation activities which had been conducted in earlier years beginning in the early 1900s. The Pomfret Historical Society is an educational resource, which provides both access to, and a repository for, artifacts and archives relating to the town of Pomfret. 

The Pomfret Historical Society will preserve, display, and make available its collection for research. Our office is open on Friday mornings, by appointment, at (802) 432-8021.  The Pomfret VT Historical Society is located in the former Town records building next to the Pomfret Town Clerk’s office.
