Allen G. Brailey (1897-1981) grew up on Maple Grove Farm on the west side of Allen Hill, overlooking the Broad Brook valley, just inside the Pomfret town line. He wrote about his life growing up in Pomfret. Jon Turner has digitized his grandfather’s memoir and provided historical context.
